Open the backups page, and click the button to select a new base apk. Then navigate to and select the beatsaber backup file you created before attempting to sync, which should located in c:/users//appdata/roaming/sidequest/beatsaber backups (something like that).

Hi there! I have followed all of the steps, but after the modded version of beatsaber is downloaded three dots show up and after a few minutes a black screen appears. Before and after downloading songs this issue is still there. I also do have the storage permissions on for beatsaber and I have redownloaded everything from scratch again. Please if anyone finds a fix for this lmk!

You have to turn on developer mode in the Oculus app. -on-oculus-quest/enable-developer-mode . You have to become a developer first tho. Here is how to do it -device-setup/ follow all directions, create and name your organization and wait a few seconds before you try to turn on developer mode on the Oculus app. Restart your headset before doing anything else. Hey BMBF team. I have a problem with the site for oculus quest beat saber modding. I go to the tools bar and copy the exact web address on google chrome but it just times out. I have no idea why and I really want to start modding my beat saber game so please get back to me.

hi im chris i just downloaded sidequest and a pparently there was an update for beatsaber and when i try to sent the songs i got yo the quest it says we are working on an update do i have to reinstall this again to the latest version or will the update appear on the sidequest app

So I followed all the steps to use custom songs in my quest 2 and each time I try to open the app it just loads and loads and loads forever and never opens up. Anyone else had this problem or know a solution?

the stable versions do not work with the latest version of beat saber if you bought it through oculus. You have to go back to a prior version, which i dont think is possible if you bought through oculus.You have to go with a nightly update version of BMBF, and good luck getting that to work, its a pain in the butt, cannot get any songs downloaded to the quest.

This has been a very painful experience. I bought Beat saber through oculus, so cannot go back a version. I am currently using the latest nightly update version, successfully installed on my quest2. I am now able to connect directly to the quest2 ip address, and can drop files to upload them this way, but they do not appear anywhere in game. If i try to drop the file again, it says failed, already exists.

On the Quest2 when BMBF is open and i try to add the songs that way, tells me i need to be logged on ? nowhere appears to be able to login, so i go to sync page and enter my bsaber id there and toggle the bookmark and queue download. Still nothing, still cannot add song from within BMBF on Q2.

• (HD Textures and Improvements - optional - but very highly recommended) Download the VR version of the Venom Mod from Mod DB. Unzip the contents to somewhere on your PC. Copy all PK3 files from the folder "Venom Mod - RtCWquest edition" to your Quest folder "RTCWQuest/Main". Overwrite if needed. If you wish for more vicious and smarter enemies, also copy over "sp_vpak9.pk3" from "Improved Ai (optional)" to "RTCWQuest/Main". This makes the enemies more aggressive and aim a lot better. You can revert this anytime by deleting "sp_vpak9.pk3".

There are some smaller bugs while running "Brutal Chex Quest", such as some missing textures, some weird messages and sound noises while the Flemoids are puking, but I didn't bother to fix these because it doesn't screw the gameplay and I'm sure these will be addressed in the future Brutal Doom v21 versions.

Hey man, I'm at the point where I can blindly edit/ replace textures with Krita (which retains the opacity stuff), blindly replace creature textures (DOOM-Chex... heh), blindly replace corpses with blood-spats, blindly replace heads-on-spikes and entrails-from-ceilings with other innocuous decorations (e.g. a hanging cartoon dog), and the like.

The patch doesn't work on the current Brutal Doom v21 build and I can't update it at Mod DB for some reason anymore.
